He was born in 1974 in Kyiv and graduated from NTUU KPI with an engineer of metallurgy degree (1998).

From 1998 to 1999, he worked as laboratory chief of computer technology in the Department of Foundry of Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals NTUU KPI.

From 1999 to 2001, he was laboratory head for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since 2001, Mr. Bogdanov has worked in the market-price research department at SE Ukrainian Industry Expertise.
